Brad Long joins The Commitaphobics
...as lead guitarist, for awhile. When Tim told us several months ago that, while he loved the band, he really needed to begin to focus on some of the core aspects of his life (you mean there's more to life than just music, women, more music and alcohol????) we kinda fell into shock. Tim had been with us through the formative years of the new band and was truly a part of the family. It was going to be hard to replace Tim's chops, but even more importantly find somebody like Tim who's personality, attitude and heart fit with the rest of the band.
While we were conducting our search we asked an old friend of the band, Brad Long, if he could fill in for Tim one night and he said "sure man, I'd love to jam with you guys, I never get to play lead with my group." Well for those of you who may not know Brad, he's kinda like an R&B, Jazz, Pop and Blues Front-Man and lead guitarist all rolled into one. Realizing Brad has his own musical career as a solo singer songwriter and as a front-man, we only asked Brad to join us for just one night. Well everyone had such a blast, we decided to keep going for awhile.
If you haven't seen and heard Brad you need to get your butt out to a show – he rocks!
