So, Who's The Girl?
Amy Tardo, The Commitaphobics new flav, (the spunky sex pot up on stage with that wonderful voice grabbing everybody’s attention) actually is an old friend of the band we’ve been after for a long, long time. Amy hit the Atlanta music scene in 1996 when she gigged for several years with an acoustic trio comprised musicians Scott Humphries and Dr. Dave.
Our paths first crossed when Dave Craver of the band Craver started Open Mic Atlanta up in a small pub in Norcross, GA. Craver, Scott, T, Doug and Terry Flynn were the first musicians to get things started for Open Mic Atlanta and as the crowd began to grow each Tuesday evening, Scott eventually introduced Amy to the scene where she rocked the palace with her entrancing style and voice.
We’ve thrown Amy into the mix quickly and are just now beginning to grab some practice time to add the songs to the set list she wants to do. Make sure you get out to hear the new stuff as we introduce a little bit of Amy each week. Hey – who says there’s no such thing as female Commitaphobics? Solid.
