Bay Area, California
a.k.a. WTC Tourist Guy
Originally schooled as a horn player, I started playing bass out of necessity in high school when the jazz band bassist would show up for practice incapacitated from too many extra curricular lunch break activities. I started to play and realized I was a bassophile (that what my doctor calls it, anyway – no joke).
Band influences: The Who, Peter Gabriel, Police, B-52’s, Talking Heads, Chili Peppers, Commodores, Rolling Stones, DMB, Blues Brothers, Weather Report, Beatles, Primus, Level 42, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, and anything that Stanley Clarke, Jaco, Tony Levin or James Jamerson played on.
